While we marvel at the sight of trees and plants, and especially nature's vitality and growth, we treasure even more the permanence of rocks and stones. A whiff of eternity touches us as we wander and view mountain ranges and stones on the beach, in the desert or on high plains. Time seems to stand still and "now" appears to last forever - even the most casual tourist finds it hard to resist the magic of stones.
