Revolution in the Heart: Stories Inspired by and In Honor of Ursula K. Le Guin will ask eighteen writers to produce brand new stories of science fiction and fantasy that look, clearly and plainly at the world around us and the future we are faced with, and lay out for us how we might live better, be better, how we might avoid despair and choose to be the revolution we need to be. From the appearance of her first work of short fiction in 1962 to the publication of the last one in 2016, Ursula K. Le Guin was a master of science fiction and fantasy, creating the beloved stories of Earthsea alongside the urgent and essential stories of the Hain. Revolution in the Heart will honor that, divided evenly between science fiction and fantasy, between stories of how we make the world better and why.
